The Steep Hill to Establish Trust & the Slippery Slope to Lose It

In his book, “ The Five Dysfunctions of a Team” Patrick Lencioni introduces us to the idea that trust is the foundation for optimum team performance.  Lencioni’s definition of trust focuses on vulnerability-based trust which can be challenging in the workplace when interacting with patients, colleagues, and teams.  A quick self assessment of team trust will be shared in this session. 6 specific ideas that teams can use to build trust will be shared with the participants.

• Assess the level of trust on a team that you lead or are a member of in the workplace.
• Discover 6 activities that build trust on a team.
